Just in case you were thinking it, no Duane did not use an old out-dated spray on tan. Normally he would be the color of my albino white pudgy arm, minus the pudgy part.
Every bit of his body is yellow-orange from the jaundice. Yes, even his tushy. The funniest is his stomach, which for some reason is bright yellow. Early one morning I had him turn the light off in the bathroom because his skin was blinding me, I'm so not joking.His skin color has been about the only laughable part of this new chapter of his battle. Willy Wonka is calling for Duane, gotta go.

You should take the time to read: "Ask in Faith" by Elder Bednar in the May 2008 issue of the Ensign. It has really changed my view of prayer and submitting to Heavenly Father's will. Keep up the Faith and keep up that extraordinary example you are setting for your family, friends and the community around you.
So I was thinking today that you need to add another song to this playlist... and for the sake of you and all of Duane's friends... I think you need to find Lean on Me and add it ;)
Tell Duane we need him to help direct Nutcracker traffic Saturday, and he won't have to wear an orange vest! But seriously....wow. Still fervently praying for another miracle. We miss you all so much! Rest, Duane. Rest, Becky. I like the idea of "Lean on Me". Or Carol King's "You've got a Friend".
I thought of another song. Have you heard of REM's Superman? I don't know all the words so maybe it doesn't apply but listen and see! As far as the yellow, just another way to you he is the "highlight" of your life. I know it's not my best work, but it was all I could think of. lol

Just reading new blog has made me cry just lookin at it... i just wanted you guys to no that i am praying and thinking about you guys often!!!!! i just wanted you to no that i am here no matter what!!!! even your cooky uncle bob!! (lately he has been thinkin a little to high of himself)(lol) but anyways we love you guys and care for you!!! anything you ever need we can be there in a heart beat!!!!!!!!!i just pray that this all will come to a end! but i no that the Lord has put this upon your guys' life for a reason! you guys are a blessing to me in so many ways i look up to u guys so much!!! just keep goin!!! just gotta keep pushin on!!!! just dont give up!!!!! that is some of the best advice i have ever had given to me... it sounds simple but it means alot!!!! so just remember that just dont give up and and in the end everything will be alright because it has to be! right now it seems it could never get better! but it will, because it has to!!!!!!
